QA Engineer (Web & API)
About Us
launch.ist is a development agency that builds production software. Specialist agents handle the volume and the verification; named engineers review, sign, and own what ships. We work with Go and Python on isolated Kubernetes, across web and AI products, including systems with video integration.
Who We’re Looking For
We need a QA Engineer (Junior+/Middle level) to help improve the quality of our products. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented who can find non-obvious defects and hold the bar on what ships.
Responsibilities
- Testing web applications, APIs, and services with video integrations
- Finding and documenting defects
- Creating test cases
- Verifying bug fixes
- Participating in release cycles
- Communicating with the development team
Required Skills
- At least 1 year of experience in manual testing of web applications
- Experience in API testing
- Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia)
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Knowledge of HTTP and REST basics
- Ability to write clear bug reports
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with test automation tools
- Experience testing products with video content or AI components
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles
