What's a "launch" on the $2,500 tier?
A scoped piece of work with a defined deliverable, reviewed and signed off by a senior engineer. Typically 2-5 business days. Most launches are a flow rebuild, a service migration, a system v0.1, or a production-readiness audit. We scope it in writing before charging.
The word "launch" is the thing the vibe-coding tools do not do: deliver something a named human examined, with a trail that says what shipped and why, on infrastructure built to hold it.
How does this compare to AWS or a DIY VPS?
A comparable AWS EKS setup costs roughly $125-1,770/mo depending on size. A DIY VPS with Neon free tier starts around $8-25/mo and stops being viable beyond basic apps. The comparison misses the ops cost: someone has to configure the cluster, write the GitOps pipelines, manage the backup rotation, and respond at 2am. That person is us.
Do you offer non-profit or open-source discounts?
Dev/Shared is free for verified open-source maintainers and 501(c)(3) non-profits. Email hello@launch.ist with a link to your repo or org.
Can I downgrade or cancel?
Any time, in-app. Annual refunds in the first 30 days, no questions.
What about the agents?
All specialist agents — developer, designer, lawyer, devops — are included at every tier. The infrastructure pricing covers your platform. Agent-assisted development and human review are separate engagements: $2,500 per launch for a senior engineer to scope, build, review, and sign the work. You are not paying for the agents to run. You are paying for the human who owns what they produce.
